Course Content
This course provides an overview
of the latest technology for fall protection. The student will be
introduced to the principles of fall protection, the components
of the fall arrest system, the limitations of fall arrest equipment
and the OSHA policies regarding fall protection in construction
and general industry.
Prerequisites/Participant
Tools
The course manual will be provided. The course manual on CD
and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) may be purchased for
an additional fee.

• Body holding devices
• Vertical traveling systems
• Warning line systems, safety monitors, CAZs and fall protection
plans
• PFAS hazard analysis
• Fall protection for residential, construction and STD
